Scouts Only Overnight!
You've seen the aquarium during the day, but at night it can be a whole different world! Bring your troop to Downtown Aquarium. Explore the wacky and wonderful animals and their habitats while earning your next badge. Program activities include interactive programming that fulfills badge requirements, crafts and our Rise 'n Shine breakfast. Bring your sleeping bags and snooze amongst the sharks and rays!
Cost: $65.00 per Scout (plus tax); includes t-shirt, snack and hot breakfast.

Brownie Girl Scouts
Wonders of Water Journey
Dive into Scouting and your Wonders of Water journey. Learn why water is an important resource for all our animals. Get a taste of different waters. Become a water molecule and take an unexpected journey in the world. In this 3 hour program, there will be educator-led activities, a tour through the exhibits and a behind the scenes tour.

Junior Girl Scouts
Animal Habitats Badge
Earn your Animal Habitats Badge, as part of the aMUSE journey. Discover different animals and how they rely on their habitats to survive. In this 3 hour program, you will see habitats from around the world as you journey through the exhibits. Learn more about several ways animals can survive and also see how we create animal habitats by going on a behind the scenes tour of our exhibits.

Cub Scouts
Into the Wild
Have you ever wanted to find hidden animals? Explore the wild world and use your tracking skills at the Downtown Aquarium! We will find hidden evidence to track down rare and exotic creatures found in our exhibits. In this 3 hour program we will explore the differences between threatened, endangered, and extinct animals, then uncover how you can help protect and save these animals. Helps with some requirements for Webelos- Into the Wild, Tigers in the Wild, Wolf-Call of Wild, and A Bear Goes Fishing.*

Boy Scouts
Oceanography
Come discover what exactly Oceanography is! Learn how to map the ocean floor and discover what all lies at the bottom of the oceans. Explore what animals eat by looking at ocean food chains. Various ocean habitats at the Downtown Aquarium provide a wonderful opportunity for scouts to earn the Oceanography Merit Badge. In this 3 hour program the scouts will participate in educator-led activities, see some behind the scenes areas and tour the exhibits.

Reptiles & Amphibians
Delve into the details about Herpetology: Reptiles and Amphibians. Discover how to slither like a snake and learn the truth behind scaly superstitions, while examining why reptiles and amphibians are such a valuable part of many ecosystems. Being home to dozens of species of reptiles and amphibians, the Downtown Aquarium is the place to work on your Reptile and Amphibian Study Merit Badge. In this 3 hour program the scouts will participate in educator-led activities, see some behind the scenes areas and tour the exhibits.
